Buy from a store that stocks genuine, brand-authorised products, lets you see and try machines before buying, and offers wholesale rates for salons. Choice is at Ground Floor 16-17, Galaxy Mall, Nehrunagar, Ahmedabad, open Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 7:30 pm.
Ahmedabad has a fast-growing beauty scene. New salons, nail studios and freelance artists open every month. Finding the right supplier is one of the first big decisions they make.
Here's what to look for, wherever you shop.
5 things to check before you buy
- Genuine stock. Fake gel polish and machines are common. Buy from stores that work directly with brands.
- Try before you buy. For lamps, dryers and straighteners, hold them, switch them on and check the size.
- Warranty and service. Machines should come with a warranty card and a store that helps if something goes wrong.
- Range. One store for nails, hair, skin and tools saves you time and gives you one bill.
- Advice. Good suppliers tell you what you need, and what you don't.
